The location can be a real challenge. the steep hill leading back from El Poblado took about 25-30 minutes—a climb not for the faint of heart. The room had a musty smell, and the balcony experience was ruined by flooding when it rained, leading to insect issues. Additionally, the mattress was deformed, and some linens showed signs of neglect with unpleasant odors.

The warmth of friendly staff
The cheerful staff made each day brighter, especially Sebastian, always ready with a smile. Morning pancakes paired with fresh fruit set a delightful tone for the day.
The uphill trek back from town was a challenge, particularly after long evenings out. Additionally, the wifi connection struggled at times, which was inconvenient.

I discovered the tastiest Danish pastries around and couldn’t get enough of the culinary gems nearby like La Parrilla de Pacho, just a stroll away! Plus, the spacious Superior Double Room offered a chill vibe with a comfy bed—perfect after my foodie adventures.
But let’s be real, that hill to get back is a workout—like, who needs a gym pass?

The staff was incredibly friendly. especially Sebastian, who always welcomed us. We enjoyed our time in the beautiful garden area and appreciated the delicious breakfast with fresh fruit. The hot showers were a true delight after our previous stay.
The steep hill to get back from the town could be challenging. clearer information on local transport options would be helpful.

The pancakes for breakfast were a delightful surprise, and I loved the hot water showers after long days out. The lovely garden area offered several relaxing nooks where I could unwind with a book. Just a heads up, the walk back can be a bit tiring if you're not a fan of hills! 🌿

Sebastian and the staff stood out with their warmth and helpfulness, making every interaction memorable. The breakfast options were particularly delightful, featuring globally inspired dishes that included pancakes and fresh fruit. However, the uphill location made returning after exploring the area a bit taxing, and the wifi connection occasionally faltered during the stay. Plus, while the rooms were spacious, some areas indicated a bit of wear and tear that could use attention.

Amazing staff and cozy atmosphere
I had a wonderful stay here, especially because of the incredible staff, especially Sebastian, who was always cheerful and ensured my coffee was topped off. The breakfast was delightful with options like pancakes, and I loved the vibrant atmosphere, enhanced by the lovely squirrels in the trees! The only downside was the wifi, which could use some improvement.

The Superior Double Room was really clean and spacious. That bed was huge! The shower had great hot water—definitely needed after the earlier part of my trip. The only downside was the wifi. it could use some work. And if you don’t love hills, keep in mind getting back from the main strip can be a hike!
